Manufacturing Process Neodymium Magnets
It mainly includes the following key steps:
Batching: The main raw materials include rare earth metal neodymium (29%-32.5%), iron (63.95-68.65%), and boron (1.1-1.2%).
Smelting: The raw materials weighed in proportion are cast into sheets or ingots.
Hydrogen crushing: The hydrogen absorption characteristics of rare earth metal compounds are used to expand and break the thin sheets into coarse powder.
Airflow milling: The principle is similar to that of a mixer. The high-pressure airflow blows up the coarse powder and collides to become a fine powder.
Molding: The subdivided powder is placed in a mold and pressed into the required shape.
Isostatic pressing: Release pressure on the object to gradually reduce the density of the product to meet the predetermined requirements.
Degreasing: It is to remove the packaging of the statically pressed product and prepare for sintering.
Sintering: The product is placed in a specific sintering furnace for a series of sintering to obtain a rough product.
Machining: The rough materials are ground, wire-cut, sliced, punched, electroplated, magnetized, tested, packaged, and shipped according to customer needs.
