The quartz sand filter is a filter that uses quartz sand as the material. It can effectively remove the suspended matter in water, and has a significant removal effect on colloids, iron, organic matter, and other pollutants in water. It has the advantages of small filtration resistance, large specific surface area, strong acid and alkali resistance, oxidation resistance, PH range of 2-13, and good anti-pollution, etc. The unique advantage of the quartz sand filter is that by optimizing the design of the filter media and the filter, achieving automatic operation of the filters.
The filter media has a strong self-adaptation to the raw water concentration, operating conditions, pre-disposal process, etc., that is, the filter bed automatically forms the upper sparse and lower dense state during filtration, which is beneficial to ensure the effluent quality of the water in a variety of operating conditions. The filter media is fully dispersed during backwashing, and the cleaning effect is good. The quartz sand filter has the advantages of fast filtration speed, high filtration accuracy, and large sewage interception capacity.
It is widely used in the pretreatment of various process water, domestic water, circulating water and wastewater in electricity, electronics, beverages, tap water, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, textile, papermaking, food, swimming pools, municipal engineering and other fields.
Structural form
The equipment consists of main body, water distribution device, water collection device, external piping and instrument sampling device. The water inlet device is an upper water inlet and baffle water distribution structure, and the water collection device is a porous plate filter cap water collection device or a dome-shaped porous plate plus a supporting layer structure; the external piping of the equipment body is equipped with a valve and a pressure sampling interface, which is convenient for users to install on site and realize the normal operation of the device.
