With the core concept of “clean energy supply and warmth for the people”, Beijing Energy Group implemented an environmentally friendly intelligent descaling system + full-process water purification device integration and transformation in response to the serious scaling of pipeline network and insufficient heat efficiency in a district heat station in Beijing. 

The project adopts food-grade chemical scale inhibitor and high-frequency electromagnetic scale inhibition technology to reduce 90% of the wastewater discharge of the traditional pickling process, and synchronously deploys Internet of Things water quality monitoring terminals to realize dynamic control of 8 indicators such as calcium and magnesium ion concentration, pH value, etc., which reduces the hardness of the circulating water by 75%, saves 42 tons of coal and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 110 tons annually, and allows energy saving and emission reduction to be incorporated into the city's “capillary”.

Through equipment upgrading and intelligent management, the heat exchange efficiency of a district heating system increased by 23%, the residents' room temperature compliance rate jumped from 82% to 98%, completely solving the problem of “uneven heating and cooling” of the end users.
